💼 The Lover Beat — Service & Booking Policy By booking with The Lover Beat, you agree to the following terms and conditions. 💼Travel Base Location: Dallas–Fort Worth, TX metro area. Standard Travel Radius: Up to 15 miles from ZIP 75056: Add a flat $25 travel fee. This travel fee applies if your appointment location is within the 15 mile radius of my base location in The Colony, TX (ZIP 75056) 15 to 25 miles: Add a flat $35 travel fee. This travel fee applies if your appointment location is 15–25 miles from The Colony, TX (ZIP 75056). $35 non-refundable deposit covers travel cost and is paid upfront. ✔ ️ Do NOT pay this again after the appointment. Beyond 25 miles: Add a $50 travel fee. This travel fee applies if your appointment location is 25–35 miles from The Colony, TX (ZIP 75056). This $50.00 non-refundable deposit covers travel cost and is paid upfront. ✔ ️ Do NOT pay this again after your appointment. 📍 If your location is over 35 miles, an additional $0.75 per mile (round-trip) will be charged separately and must be paid before the appointment. Parking & Tolls: Client is responsible for any valet, garage, hotel, or toll fees incurred. On‑Site Requirements: A well‑lit space, a standard‑height chair/stool, a sink, a small table or counter, and one nearby outlet. ⸻ 💳 Deposits & Payment • A $20 non-refundable deposit is required to secure all appointments. • Full payment is due at the end of the service via accepted payment methods: [Cash, Card, Zelle, Apple Pay]. • Card or digital payments may include a small processing fee • No refunds will be issued after services are completed. ⸻ ❌ Cancellation & No-Show Policy • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. • If canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice 50% of the service fee will be charged. • No-shows will be charged 100% of the service total, and may be required to prepay 50% of future bookings. • A 15-minute grace period is allowed. ⏰ Late arrivals beyond 15 minutes (with prior communication) will incur a $20 late fee ⏳ 30 minutes late = automatic cancellation ❌ No-shows or excessive tardiness may result in refusal of future bookings If you cancel after I’ve begun traveling to your location, a 75% fee will apply, even if within the 24-hour window. You will be notified when I am on route. As a mobile artist, delays impact other appointments and travel logistics. Please be fully ready at the scheduled time. ⸻ 🔄 Rescheduling Policy •Rescheduling requests must be made at least 12 hours in advance of your appointment time. •Rescheduling with less than 12 hours’ notice will result in a requirement to prepay for future bookings. •Repeated last-minute rescheduling or cancellations may result in a requirement to prepay for future bookings. •To reschedule, please contact me directly via email theloverbeat@gmail.com, or Instagram @the.loverbeat ⸻ 🧍‍♀️ Guest Policy •Only one guest is allowed per appointment. (Exceptions can be made for Group/Bridal Bookings) •You must provide notice at least 4 hours in advance if you plan to bring a guest. •Guests must remain respectful and may not interrupt the service. •Unannounced or disruptive guests may result in cancellation of the service without a refund. •Clients are responsible for the behavior of their guest, including any damages or disruptions caused. Since services are provided on-location, space may be limited. Please ensure your guest can be accommodated without interfering with the setup or service area ⸻ 👶 Children Policy • Children are welcome only if accompanied by a second adult who can supervise them for the entire appointment. • We kindly ask that no more than two children be present and that they remain at least 6 feet from the workstation to ensure everyone's safety and avoid distractions. • Please let me know at least 4 hours in advance if you'll be bringing a child, so I can prepare accordingly and ensure the best experience possible. •Clients are responsible for the behavior of their children, including any damages or disruptions caused. The Lover Beat is not responsible for monitoring or managing children during appointments. For safety and focus, children must remain under active adult supervision at all times provided by the adult guest of the client. ⸻ 🐾 Pet Policy • Pets must be well-trained, friendly, and clean to be present during appointments. • If pets are not calm or become a distraction, they are preferred to be kept in a separate room or in a crate during the session. • No pets are allowed to interfere with the service area or allowed in the based salon suite. • No reptiles or spiders/insects • Service dogs (not ESAs) are always welcome, in accordance with state and federal law. Please ensure your service dog is clean, well-groomed, potty trained, and under control at all times. •Any disturbance or sanitation concern may result in service refusal or additional cleaning fees. In accordance with laws in Texas, the client and/or guardian is solely responsible for children or animals brought to the appointment. ⸻ Children and Pet Policy is put into place to provide a focused, relaxing, high-quality service for travel based clients. I know how important comfort and flexibility are, which is why I welcome guests and kids, and pets, specifically for services that are in their own home/space — as long as the experience stays smooth for everyone. I just ask for a heads-up and a little support so you can fall in love with your look without stress. ⸻ 👧 Policy for Minor Clients Clients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian during their appointment. If a minor wishes to attend an appointment without a guardian, written consent from a parent or legal guardian is required. No minor clients under the age of 14 years old. This policy applies to all service locations, including hotels, private residences, and other on-site venues. This policy ensures the safety and well-being of all clients Services for minors are cosmetic only and do not involve skincare, waxing, or medical treatment. Parental consent confirms understanding and acceptance of this policy. ⸻ 📸 Photos & Content Use • Before looks/After looks may be photographed or filmed for marketing, training, or portfolio purposes. • If you do not wish to be photographed or tagged, please notify me before your appointment. ⸻ 💥 Damage & Liability Policy Clients are fully responsible for the actions and behavior of self and any guests, children, or animals they bring to their appointment. If a client, guest, child, or animal causes damage to the workspace, products, tools, or physically to the artist, the client will be held liable for all related costs, including repair, replacement, medical care, or loss of income. Depending on the severity of the incident, The Lover Beat reserves the right to: • Charge additional fees • Refuse or end service immediately • Ban the client from future bookings This includes (but is not limited to): broken or stolen items, spilled drinks/food, products, or makeup, unsanitary contamination, aggressive behavior, scratching/biting, or any form of physical harm. The Lover Beat is not liable for any damage to client furniture, clothing, or property that occurs during setup, breakdown, or application of makeup/products. Once on-site, whether based or through travel, any accidents, injuries, or property damage caused by unsafe access (e.g., icy walkways, poor lighting, pets, etc.) are the responsibility of the client. Services may be refused or paused if the working environment is unsafe, unsanitary, or poses a risk to the artist or equipment. ⸻ 🧼 Legal, Sanitation & Liability • All tools, products, and stations are thoroughly cleaned between clients to maintain a safe, hygienic environment. • If you are experiencing symptoms of illness (including colds, flu, pink eye, or cold sores), please reschedule. • The Lover Beat reserves the right to refuse service to anyone due to health concerns, inappropriate behavior, or policy violations. The Lover Beat feels it is important to also operate in environments provided by the client (homes, hotels, venues, etc.). I am not responsible for environmental risks such as poor lighting, limited space, or cleanliness of the location. Service may be refused or paused if the conditions are deemed unsafe, unsanitary, or not conducive to professional service. The Lover Beat reserves the right to leave the appointment immediately if I feel unsafe or disrespected. No refunds will be issued in these cases. ⸻ ⚖️The Lover Beat is a licensed esthetician and makeup artistry business. All services provided are cosmetic and beauty-related services performed within the legal scope of a licensed esthetician. Services may include makeup application, brow services, waxing, and other non-medical beauty treatments. The Lover Beat does not provide medical, dermatological, or permanent cosmetic procedures unless otherwise stated and legally permitted. ‼️By booking, clients acknowledge that services are cosmetic in nature and agree to disclose any relevant skin conditions, allergies, sensitivities, or health concerns prior to their appointment. Clients are responsible for understanding any venue-specific rules or restrictions regarding on-location beauty services. By booking, clients acknowledge and accept these terms.
